This is where the journey of your dreams begins. A place where your dreams become reality.
About the area
Halkidiki is known for its emerald waters and endless sandy beaches, with popular beaches and out-of-the way romantic bays where all of your senses come alive. The Greek light, pristine landscapes, colours and fragrances, the energy of nature and traditional flavours create a setting for complete relaxation.
The scent of pine mixes with the salty sea air and your soul finds peace in the legendary sunrises and idyllic sunsets.
It's the place with three shapely legs, each with its own special charms, its own history and its own legends. There is Kassandra, or Pallini, where the legendary Gigantomachy took place, Sithonia with its green and azure blue trademark colours, and Mount Athos, the monastic state with its 20 monasteries.
The Secret Paradise Hotel & Spa is an ideal destination, just 35 km from the city of Thessaloniki on the west side of the Halkidiki Peninsula. It is a little slice of heaven between the lush Kallikratia hill and the coast with the crystal-clear waters, with access to all of the archaeological sites in the Macedonia region.
Nea Kallikratia, at an altitude of 20 metres, is a town in Halkidiki, within the Municipality of Nea Propontida. It has a year-round population of 6,204 residents, with many more during the summer months.
Archaeological excavations in the area unearthed a funerary stele with a pediment depicting a young woman with a dove in her left hand (dating to 440 BC).
The artefact is at the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
